After driving over a small pothole at an unknown speed, the tire was punctured and the sidewall fractured. The vehicle was taken to a mechanic to have the tires replaced, but the failure recurred. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The vehicle and tire failure mileage were 1,900.

The contact stated that while driving at 75 mph, the vehicle front passenger side tire hit a deep pothole.
