My car was leaking brake fluid but no spots on ground. My brakes started locking and not work at all. After having car serviced multiple times my brakes completly stopped all together. Left for mechanic and my car in the engine bay caught fire. Burned completly for total loss. Abs modularor had recall causing engine bay fires. Was wondering if this was why.
While driving the following codes would flash: aeb, bsm, tpms, also while the aeb code would flash it would limit my acceleration weather on the highway or local driving. These issues were reported to Hyundai America corporate and I have a active complaint as well as a open appointment with a local dealership on 1. 4. 22. Lastly I do have a video of this taking place.
Upon driving many warning lights light up and make warning signals on the instrument dashboard. These warning lights light up at the same time or in succession and include: check bid system, tire pressure, check engine light, skid control, check bsd system, and others. In addition, brakes become sticky and steering is affected. Worse yet, car slows down on its own as it engages crash avoidance system.
1. Engine will not shut off when vehicle in park. Had to disconnect battery. There was no warning. 2. Lkas warning light remains on. 3. Caution light remains on on the dash. 4. Anti-braking system highlights when immediate car in front of me makes a turn without me being close to it. The first thing the dealer asks is do I have extended warranty! they stated they couldn't get to the repair until maybe Thursday. I'm really afraid to drive my car.
