Brought my Hyundai to red mccombs superior Hyundai to 9am appt on Friday, July 28th to have my drivers side seatbelts untangled which I thought was a safety issue. They refused to even get the vehicle into the shop for they were “too busy”. I surmise it wasn’t worth their time to remedy…too many overpriced oil changes to perform. Ridiculous and service is severely lacking at red mccombs Hyundai.
I have a 2015 Hyundai Genesis. I had an over heating issue with the car in January of 2025. Took the car to an authorized dealership, and had the repair made. A month later a code appeared on my dash it read “psb “. I went to have my vehicles emission’s test and the car failed. I took the car to an authorized Hyundai dealer and they said its most likely the fuel pump module, but wouldn’t know til they examined it thoroughly. After they replaced the fuel pump p module they called me and said that the seat belt positioned went bad and it was explosive. That it’s a safety feature on this model and it was caused by the fuel pump module. If the dealt belt is a safety feature and it becomes defective, shouldn’t it be under warranty? you can’t drive in my state I belted, and if the seat belt positioner is explosive isn’t that a hazard? I think the seat belt , any part of the seat belt should be a warranty item for the life of the car, especially if it’s for safety. I am now being told that there is a $1500 cost in order to fix this item.
