The contact owns a 2010 Hyundai Genesis coupe. The contact stated that while attempting to stop the vehicle, the brake pedal traveled to the floor and the stopping distance was extended. To stop the vehicle the brake pedal had to be pumped multiple times. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The local dealer and manufacturer were both contacted regarding the failure and the contact was informed that the VIN was not included in the NHTSA campaign number: 13v489000 (service brakes, hydraulic). The contact indicated that the vehicle had experienced the failure listed in the recall. The failure mileage was 79,000.
