Service Brakes Problems of Hyundai Kona - part 2

As I was coming to a stop light I pressed my brake pedals I felt a shudder through the brake pedal and my car died. This occurred three times in a short. Of time. This occurred three times in a short. Of time I was on a highway and it was very disconcerting I was able to finally get it back home.

The car breaks does not get applied intermittently, I had a forward collision. The forward collision avoidance / warning did not work. The incident happened at a busy street with slow moving traffic. This is the 2nd time the break did not get applied, the first time the road ahead was clear.

While braking forward or backing up their is a continuous scraped noise and it doesn't matter if it rain ,dry ,hot or cold weather. It my noise while braking all the time. It started at 1,000 miles and now it has 8,000 miles. Brought it in February 2020. Test drive one 6,000 and noise was worst. They said all of them make same noise. Help.

Driving during rush hour on interstate in an urban area. Cars in front slowed rapidly, applied brakes to slow down, did so successfully. Dynamic brake support then apparently kicked in, and forced the car to a stop, despite brake being fully released. Car from behind barely able to avoid crashing into me, the driver had to swerve onto the shoulder to avoid me and ended up stopping beside my car. Once car came to a stop, was able to get going again. Issue has not reproduced since.

Automatic emergency braking activated unexpectedly while driving in a highway. Vehicles ahead were stopped or slowing down and I was starting to brake and the car activated the emergency braking bringing the car to a complete stop even though there was not immediate danger of collision, there was more than a car space between my car and the stopped car. The car behind me had to veer off the road not to hit me. A similar situation happened twice before.
