Body problem #1

My car was at a complete stop at a traffic light with the auto hold feature engaged. After about a minute, my car lunged forward and hit the car in front of me even though I was hit hitting the brake and trying to stop it.

Body problem #2

The underbody factory gravel shield structurally failed and sheared along its molded stress lines under normal driving conditions. The part is fully available for physical inspection. This failure occurred silently without any prior warning lamps, messages, or symptoms, and was discovered by a technician during a routine maintenance oil change at 11,645 miles on August 5, 2026. The structural failure was visually confirmed by wyatt johnson Hyundai, but they refused to honor the warranty, and a subsequent corporate review by the manufacturer resulted in a final denial on October 7, 2026. Due to this two-month administrative delay, the unsecured component has progressively degraded and is now sagging dangerously low and dragging directly on the asphalt. This puts my safety and the safety of trailing traffic at extreme risk, as it acts as an aerodynamic scoop with an imminent threat of completely detaching at highway speeds, creating a severe road debris hazard. Furthermore, it leaves the engine bay and steering components completely unprotected from road debris.

Body problem #3

Sunroof exploded while driving on interstate 95 at 70mph. Photos show sunroof exploded outwards not inwards.

Body problem #4

Sunroof completely shattered while driving. Yes, it is available for inspection upon request. Due to the glass spontaneously shattering while driving, all occupants in the vehicle were at risk of injury. Problem was confirmed by dealership close to where the incident happened but later denied by other dealerships close to our home. (glass shattered while on vacation). Vehicle has not been officially inspected no warnings/messages were given before incident occurred.

Body problem #5

There are two major safety recalls that have not been fixed by the manufacturer, making this vehicle unsafe to drive. 1) seatbelts come undone; no estimated timeline for parts to be available for repair 2) vehicle's interior cabin design may not provide sufficient protection for third-row occupants during a rollover; no estimated timeline or remedy available for repair.

Body problem #6

Made aware from NHTSA of safety issues #226 ejection mitigation #283 seat belt assemblies notified Hyundai.

Body problem #7

I have been cut very deeply at least 6 times on the driver's door, and my wife has been cut at least 3 times (she does not ride in it as often) on the passenger side door while closing. The edge (point) on both sides is rough and sharp. I have begun carrying first aid supplies as it takes 20 mins to stop the bleeding and I am getting scars. This has been reported to the dealership but the service manager states they will investigate. I have found numerous reports online of the same issue with 2025 Palisades. This also occurred with the 2020-2022 model and resulted in recalls of some trim packages.

Body problem #8

After 45 days of purchasing the SUV I notice the front grille was checking and flaking. Report it to the dealership and Hyundai. They said it was caused by "out influence". So they didn't cover it. After several attempts back and forth with dealership they finally agreed to cover the replacement front grille. This is an on going issue with these grilles. The new grille is starting to do the same thing. Many Hyundai Palisade customers on the forums are talking about this issue!.
