Assist problems of the 2025 Hyundai Palisade

Lka forces vehicle to a left or right side of lane position and continuously provides steering input resisting driver in maintaining center of lane position. Condition has existed from day of dealer delivery.

What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? ---------- nothing failed but the lane assist feature forces the car to drive hugging the left lane and not on the center of the road. This can be very dangerous on a freeway when passing big wide trucks. If you use the cruise control this feature automatically turns itself on. . How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? ------ when the lane assist is turned on the car drives close to the left line and not on the center of the road and this could be very dangerous when passing large wide vehicles or those with wide trailers. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? ------------ yes. I took it to the dealer and they said that's how the car was designed and there is nothing they can do. They asked me to contact the Hyundai customer affairs. I opened a case number with Hyundai customer affairs. They said that if the dealer did not find a problem then there is nothing they can do. I am stuck with the problem. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? ------------------- see above. When I googled to see if other people are complaining about the issue, I found out that there are other people complaining but no formal complaint has been put forward. Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? ------------ the issue has existed from the dealer. There are no warnings or anything.

When using lane assist the vehicle is pulled into other lanes, including into oncoming traffic. This happens even when the vehicle is centered in the lane. This is extremely dangerous because it can cause an accident. When using cruise control, the lane assist comes on automatically which is extremely dangerous because the vehicle is going at high speeds on the highway. The dealership is aware of the situation. Both the mechanic and the salesman have driven the vehicle with me and experienced the problem. Additionally, the salesman and I drove another 2025 Palisade and the lane assist problem was present in that vehicle also.
