The contact stated that the sunroof cover was closed, but the contact heard glass shattering while driving. The contact drove to her daughter's residence and discovered that the sunroof had exploded. There was no impact to the sunroof to cause the sunroof glass to explode. There were no injuries sustained. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, and the sunroof glass was vacuumed, and pictures were taken to be sent to the manufacturer for assistance with the repair. The vehicle was not yet repaired.
