We are currently on a road trip. Fortunately we were in a 55mph zone and not going faster. While driving on the highway, the hood released from the latch and popped open. Fortunately the secondary latch caught it and we were able to pull over safely. I can’t imagine if we were going faster if the secondary latch would’ve withheld it. Very scary incident.
