Magnetic chest clip will pop open after clipped. With one finger underneath you can entirely pop it open. Our original chest did the same thing, so chicco sent a new one and now just about a year later, this one also failed. Chicco is now sending a non-magnetic chest clip to remedy, however, this seems to be a further reaching problem. I am a cpst.
This car seat has been recall. I contacted the company and have not received any response.
Magnetic chest clip malfunctions, does not fasten properly. The car seat is not designs to replace the chest clip with a functioning replacement. This allowed my child to unrestrain herself easily and posed a hazard to her in case of a wreck.
This car seat has never been in an accident and the crotch buckle has a crack in it. It also unlatches by itself. Warranty has expired so I don’t know what to do.
