I was told by westside Hyundai in jacksonville this would cost me over $200. 00 but I shouldn't have to pay for something that was recalled that left my vehicle this way. Also the drivers identified seatbelt doesn't click it will come loosen and out unless you hold down the button then put the seat belt in and let go of the button.

Front seat passenger seat belt retractor is locked. Dealer says seat belt and retractor needs to be replaced at a cost of $900. How many owners are going to spend that much money to replace the most important safety device in the vehicle? soon after I purchased the vehicle in 2014, the same thing happened to a rear passenger seat belt.

Tl - the contact owns a 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe sport. While driving 72 mph, a deer walked out in the street and the contact hit the deer. All of the air bags deployed but the passenger seat belt came out of the floor. The police were called and a police report was filed. The ambulance were called at the scene and both driver and passenger were taken to the hospital . The driver had a hematoma on the leg. The vehicle was towed to the salvage and deemed total. When attempting to engage driver's seatbelt, the seatbelt anchor bolt unthreaded/pulled out of its mounting location on the b-pillar. It seems that it was never installed/threaded completely at the factory. Vehicle is approximately 2-3 weeks old.
