I've had the brakes replaced, alignment done, rotors checked, and it still shakes like something isn't right, and it's scaring me, I'm handicap, and I feel like my front end is gonna come apart or my car is gonna flip, when I'm driving down the road it's doing just fine but when I go to press on my brakes to slow down my car is shaking like I'm going through an earthquake or tornado, and it also seems to have this problem like when you push push the gas to get speed so you could jump on the highway it like jerks a little better she is a little hard to be able to catch up and it's never done that before.

Approximately one year after having the car I began to notice issues. (18000) I have returned to the dealer for multiple repairs. The most significant issue is the toe. The vehicle will not stay in alignment and is wearing the tires unevenly causing tires needing to be replaced way too soon. After having the car aligned I will have to take it back within a week or so for another alignment. I travel between houston and austin frequently and this is a huge concern for my safety. As you are aware replacing tires is very expensive and pointless if the car will continue to wear unevenly. I have sent a certified letter to Hyundai but have not received a response.

I can hear a strong rubbing against the tire when I come to slow down and stop.
I own a 2013 Santa Fe and I have had several issues with it, the engine being replaced due to failing while driving on the highway, it was serviced with a few other items dealer found to be needed for some recalls. But none I can recall for sure was regarding the engine itself, will need to check service records. Then later it was the fuel pump(injector) need to verify specifics, but gas fumes and smoke coming from the engine and this was replaced, then later again had to take in again for repair due to service error of tubing being bent ect when installed, noticed the high amount of gas fumes and smoke from the engine and into the cabin. This was a few months ago, then Nov 9 2018 my car caught fire and was destroyed by flames. I had just seconds to pull the car over and put in park, grab my 6 year old son and get out before flames covered the entire engine then the entire car. I was in my neighborhood and pulled over on the side of the street. I would like to start an investigation regarding this matter, I fear I and my son could have died due to this known and neglected issue these Santa Fe's have been having. I have had the car serviced at the dealership so I will be able to supply the service reports and the case number for the williamson county sheriff report of the fire and other documents needed. My cell 512-635-4955 please leave a message if I miss your call and email instructions and or information needed to move forward.

"takata recall" my driver side front wheel feels like it's gonna fall off all the lug nuts are tight.
My abs lights are on and won't go off. I had it checked for 80$ to get told it is a sensor in the rear hub of tire that is not reading the tire speed. They want 500$ to repair it.

Tires wore premature and it was determined to be the front left hub bearing at 41696 miles. We had been hearing a thumping noise and it slowly worsened over time. Took it back for another noise in the rear end. Hyundai determined it to be the coupler and axles that had failed. Service person said it could have locked up and caused further damage. Also the upper and lower ac lines went bad and needed to be replaced. Service person said we have been getting three to five a week.
Rim paint peeling at 9000 miles happening all over country rims need to be recalled I have 5 spoke y rims 19 ' inch car hesitates from deadstop safety issue all over internet from other car owners.
The contact owns a 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe. Within a day of the contact owning the vehicle, a passerby alerted the contact to the fact that the rear wheels were wobbling and shaking abnormally. The dealer (davis Hyundai, 1655 n olden Ave, trenton, NJ 08638, 609-871-2800) stated that the rotors needed to be replaced and the driving condition would return to normal within a week. The vehicle was repaired by the dealer, but the failure continued. The contact was uncertain if the dealer provided a correct diagnosis to repair the vehicle. The contact continued to be informed by other drivers on the road that the vehicle's rear suspension was unstable. The same dealer further stated that the tires needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not inspected before it was sold to the contact. The dealer advised the contact to take the vehicle to an inspection facility to determine if the tires needed to be replaced. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 20,000.

The front coils of the vehicle were totally deteriorated and could have led to an accident. I noticed that earlier models were recalled due to this same condition. I paid ~2k to have this problem fixed and the garage stated the coils should have lasted to 120k miles. Hyundai has subsequently issued extended warrantees for their elantra vehicles of which we own one. I am concerned that this defect could affect more cars than Hyundai has identified similar to the engine recall situation that was recently repaired.
The front left coil spring cracked from the new york state salt on road. The coil spring broke and punctured the front left tire while it was being driven at about 25 mph going straight on a city street . This seems to be a safety issue , someone could of been hurt or death could occur . I'm glad no one was hurt or worse . The recall number is Hyundai campaign 947 Santa Fe . The case number is 10917499.

My airbags were defective. I was in a car accident, and the airbags did not deploy. After the accident, I was taken to the hospital to treat multiple bodily injuring, which could have been prevented if the airbag had deployed. I was driving in town when the accident occurred. I overshot a turn and hit a poll on the left side of the car. The car flipped and was totaled. Again, no airbags were deployed. I have included pictures of the car after the accident. My main concern is the issue with the airbags. I feel as though these should have worked properly and that I am fortunate enough that the accident was not any worse, as more serious injuries could have then occurred.

The contact owns a 2001 Hyundai Santa Fe. While driving approximately 2 mph, the rear driver side wheel leaned inward into the vehicle. In addition, the contact noticed that the rear coil spring of the suspension was rusted and corroded. Friendship Honda in johnson city, tenessee was made aware of the failures and stated that there was no recall on the vehicle. The manufacturer was made aware of the failures. The failure mileage was 108,000.

Sometimes when I make a left or ight turn, the anti lock brakes cause the vehicle to slow down. This isn't the only issue but the car turns off and the steering locks. Im not able to turn or stop. This happens when im at a very slow speed while turning. It happened numerous times. I went online and it was many compliants and reviews on the 2003 to 2006 models. Im really afraid this can cause a collision. Im not the only person who had issues with my vehicle. This happened when I got off the interstate and made a turn on a street while steering. Someone need to investigate this issue. I had other recalls on my vehicle in the past.

Continental crosstrack lx sport 235-55-19 tire had a loud bumping noise coming from the right front tire. Also had noise sounding like wheel bearing noise at all speeds up to 70 mph. Replaced tire with another brand. All noise went away after replacing tire. Close inspection of tire inside and outside revieled no defects other than a raised area where belt comes together. These tires need futher investigation by experts to determine safety aspects of these tires. Vehicle was in motion on all types of roads up to 70 mph. Even at 20 mph the tire was making a bump, bump noise. Tire was not out of balance. Recommend all these tires be recalled due to safety concerns.
Steering & suspension :front shock absorber leaking, the vehicle bounces too much, too difficult to control the vehicle. Front struts need to be changed. Ball joints had worn out very fast because front struts are not good. All lower arms and all tie rod end worn out. That change the wheel alignment, unable to control or steer the vehicle .
The SUV 2016 come equipped with continental 235/55 r19 tiers, the SUV has only 3400 miles on it since purchase, I lost two tiers on a blow out at low speed 35 to 40 mph, side walls failed, (it was on a street) I visually inspected the tires myself and agreed with the tire distributor.
Pleeas I need somone help me call me 4847257841 I have DC in my bake.
I was turning into a parking lot doing about 5mph when the vehicle suddenly accelerated to a high rate of speed, took me over a cement barrier, a curb, went airborne, landed in a bush which it tore in half and took with me, across the sidewalk and spun in the middle of a busy intersection before the tire blew off the rim and I got it to stop. It was towed to the dealership where it has been for one month as Hyundai dragged their heels until I got angry and emailed them. Two days after I emailed them I got the following leaving me with the repairs as well as paying for the rental for a month. Thank you for your recent correspondence. We have thoroughly reviewed your comments and regret the circumstances you have experienced. We have reviewed the materials provided and inspected your Santa Fe. The entire acceleration system, including the pedals and throttle, the brake system, and the transmission were thoroughly reviewed and checked. We were unable to find any malfunctions or defects that would have resulted in the condition you claim caused your accident.
Was backing out of driveway at my daughter's, I was on a side road with no traffic. A large bang and the tire popped. When I had a mechanic come look at it, he said the spring had broke and went into the tire of the front passenger side. The vehicle is still in her driveway. I have owned vehicle for about 6 years and never received a recall notice. I was looking up cost and found the recall. I am so glad this was not while I was driving or had my grandkids in the car.
I was driving west on u. S. Hwy 80 at about 30 mph, after pulling out of a parking lot about 1 block before I lost control of my 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe, at an intersection. It made a sharp right turn without my help at all. After hitting another vehicle and then jumping a large curb, I came to stop about 18" from a small tree. I was completely traumatized. The right front wheel had a blow out from the outside side wall of the tire. The mechanic said it looked slashed. The big question is, did the blow out occur at the time my vehicle made the sharp right turn at the intersection, or did it occur when it hit the curb? I don't know, but I feel something happened to cause that sharp right turn in the first place. I had the mechanic check out the right front wheel area (axle, etc). They said they couldn't find anything wrong with the vehicles parts, that wasn't caused by the accident. This makes me more convinced it has to be the tire. This is the second tire that has blown out on the outside wall of the tire since I purchased this vehicle in 2013. The other blow out was from a nail going through the outside wall. I only have 11,045 miles on this vehicle. Tires are a kumho, crugen, p235/55r19, 101h sl bsw oe (information copied from a discount tire receipt when the first blow out was replaced 5-22-15). I am afraid to get back in this vehicle because I don't know what caused complete loss of control. I will trade it in on a different vehicle. I'm afraid of Hyundai's and kumho tires!.
Going on side street at 25mph when car suddenly lost control then hit a car tire on the right of the vehicle but then rolled over on its head. Side air bags deployed but not drive air bag. This car has to be unstable to hit another car on the side (see pics) and overturn. Besides, there are already recalls on some Santa Fe sport for cracked axles and bad tires.
During maintenance I was informed that my rear tires were dry rotted. Is this a safty problem?.
While driving home with family in vehicle the control arms broke, ball joints broke and the sway bar broke.
I was at the Hyundai dealership in staten island the day after my tire warning light came on. They said that I had to leave the car overnight to see what was wrong with the right front passenger tire. When I returned the next day they said that the tire needed air. My tire warning light came on two more times during the time period that proceeded the service. I filled my tire again with air the second time. Then the third time the tire was completely flat! I called roadside assistance the next morning and they sent someone to come and put the doughnut on the car. I then drove the car to charley's tire a local tire repair shop to see what was wrong with the tire. Sure enough there was a nail in my tire. The tire was non repairable due to the treads being extremely worn, so $180 dollars later I had a new comparable tire put on my car. The treads on the other three tires are also at risk according the mechanic that replaced my tire at the tire shop. The crap condition of the roads on staten island is no help neither for condition was caused by a massive pothole the formed in a sewer manhole cover. Tires are a safety issue and they should be taken care of the first time by the mechanics at the dealership since most car owners bring their cars there to be maintained and fixed, not three times and $180 later by an independent mechanic. If dealership mechanics and service people continue to be lazy in this practice, more and more people are going to be put in danger and going elsewhere to have their automotive problems taken care of properly.
While driving at 25 mph, my wife had to hold the steering wheel at 10 o'clock in order to keep the vehicle going straight. The dealer told us that the subframe and controller arm had broke - a recall campaign which was repaired in 2010 (or so we thought). Due to this the car is not drivable and we are told by the dealership that, although the subframe and controller arm will be covered, the damage to the struts and tires are our responsibility to the sum $973. 31. Our personal mechanic states that the front tires (under 4 years old and having less than 3000 miles on them) and the struts (under 5 years old) would not need to be replaced if not for the issue with the subframe and controller arm. At our recall appointment on December 22, 2014 (for a separate issue), the dealership saw no issue during their inspection of the vehicle. Our 2002 Santa Fe has 91,000 miles, and in the last 3 months since that appointment has been driven less than 300 miles, as my wife's work is less than 2 miles from home. Hyundai motors America states that they are separate issues and therefore not part of the repairs they will cover.
