Consumer's son was driving between 30 to 40 mph when another vechicle jumped in front of him. He applied brakes, but brakes failed. He lost control and went into a tree . Upon impact, airbag did deploy, but disconnected and landed on driver's seat. He sustained neck and back injuries.
