One problem related to wheel rim has been reported for the 1999 Hyundai Sonata. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Three of the vehicle's wheel rims cracked. The technician discovered one cracked rim in August 2004 and replaced it. On Dec 21, 2004 the consumer heard a noise in the front end and took the vehicle to the dealer for a checkup. The technician discovered that two other rims had cracked. Two new rims were install the following day.
