Both power steering and power brakes failed at the same time in my teenagers Sonata. Fortunately my son was only going around 25 mph at the time and used the parking brake to stop. The Hyundai dealer says there is no connection between the two systems. Is there a NHTSA record of this occurring previously in the Sonata?.
