The air bags warning light has gone on and is always on at just 117,780 miles. The dealership has informed me that when the light is on this has disabled all my car airbags. I was driving on the freeway at 70 mph when I first noticed the red air bag light. I asked my passenger to read about this in my user manual while driving.

2 Warning Light On problem

The air bag warning light started out intermittently for about 15 starts it was off and on. Then around 03/11/2004 it came on and stayed on.

3 Warning Light On problem

Failure Date: 05/07/2007

The contact owns a 2004 Hyundai Sonata. When the ignition was turned on, the air bag warning light would illuminate on the instrument panel. The light remained illuminated until the engine was turned off. The vehicle was taken to the authorized dealer and they stated that the failure was related to a malfunction with the sensor device. The vehicle was repaired. The vehicle was taken to the dealer five times for the same failure, but no remedy was found. The failure mileage was 55,000 and current mileage was 80,000.
