Check Engine Light On problems of the 2009 Hyundai Sonata

The car drives normally until you press on the brakes after going high speeds it jerks. At stops if the car isn't in neutral the engine stutters we've replaced the cam shaft sensor 3 times now and that's the code that comes up everytime the check engine light comes on after the jerking. We also replaced the spark plugs and coils hoping it would help the shaking at stops and it didn�t.

Tl- the contact owns a 2009 Hyundai Sonata. The contact stated that while driving the check engine warning light illuminated, the vehicle stalled. The contact coasted to the side of the road and powered off the engine. The vehicle was restarted and was able to drive. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the p0014 code came up and the contact was informed the cam sensor needed to be replaced. The vehicle was taken to another independent mechanic where the cam sensor was replaced. However, the check engine warning light illuminated once again and was taken to another independent mechanic and was diagnosed that the vvt and rr vvt solenoid needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The failure recurred and was taken back to the independent mechanic a full service was completed, the technician flush the engine with cleanser and change the oil. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and schedule an appointment at jim burke Hyundai dealer, (1424 5th Ave n, birmingham, al 35203, (205) 386-959. The vehicle was taken to jim Hyundai dealer and was informed that the vehicle was not under warranty and a diagnostic testing was completed that the dtc p0013 and p0011 check and found cvvt and assy not holding the camshaft timing and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 79,930. Aw.

Tl-the contact owns a 2009 Hyundai Sonata. The contact stated that while driving the check engine light would come on and off. The vehicle did not pass inspection because of the emissions and was taken to a dealer northtown Hyundai 3675 sheridan dr, amherst, NY 14226 (716) 992-6536 . The engine light was not on at the time but the dealer was informed of the issue. The dealer performed numerous electrical repairs to the dashboard but the check engine came on again and vehicle is currently back at the dealer. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 87,633. Tf.

Tl- the contact owns a 2009 Hyundai Sonata. The contact stated that while driving 75 mph the vehicle the check engine warning light suddenly illuminated before the vehicle stalled. The vehicle was towed an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the throttle body, the camshaft sensors and the timing change were all faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but no assistance was offered. The local dealer was not notified. The failure mileage was 109,000. Jft.

Takata recall. I was told that the electrical module is defective by autozone,. We were driving down the highway when all of a sudden the engine light came on. We pulled over to check the usual stuff like oil and antifreeze and other fluids. But all of them were ok. We tried to leave again with no success. We had no power. The engine would turn over but when we tried to press the gas nothing would go. So we stopped the car waited for a while and then the car started. We countinued our trip carefully, but the check engine light was still on. After we arrived to our destination I went to autozone to check the problem. They said the eletrical and cpu modules are damaged. That of course has me a little worried. We have only had the car for a year so it couldnt be for that reason.

Check engine light code reads intake valve circuit has low voltage. Noticed reduced gas mileage economy and poor engine performance.

I was driving on interstate 75 when the check engine light went on. The car lost speed gradually from 60 mph to 10 mph. Fortunately I was near an exit and was able to exit and stop at a hotel parking lot. This was a frightening experience since other cars were speeding around me at 70+ mph, then cutting in front of me to exit the interstate. The car has been at the dealer at least three times because the engine light came on with no other result. No reason was found for the problem. The car was towed to the dealer who was closed for the weekend so I'm without a car for the weekend and will have to miss work tomorrow. Unknown cause. I'm not able to scan documents.

My esc & check engine light come on and car stalls and shuts off while driving on streets and the freeway.
