2013 Hyundai Sonata. Consumer writes in regards to gas pedal and acceleration issues. The consumer stated when he test drove the vehicle, he noticed the gas pedal did not respond for approximately three seconds, after which time the vehicle lurched forward. It went from 1000 rpm down to approximately 500 rpm. The sales rep informed the consumer, the pedal was a new design.
