The contact owns a 2015 Hyundai Sonata. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the sunroof wind deflector detached from the vehicle and flew off. The local dealer where the vehicle was serviced under an unknown recall related to the failure was contacted; however, they advised that the recall repair was completed in 2017 and it was no longer their responsibility. The manufacturer was also contacted and stated that recalls are just one-time repair. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 150,000.
