The contact owns a 2022 Hyundai Sonata. The contact stated that while her husband was driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle hesitated to accelerate while the accelerator pedal was depressed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer; however, the dealer was unable to duplicate the failure. The vehicle was not repaired and remained at the dealer. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The contact related the failure to NHTSA campaign number: 22v746000 (power train) however, the VIN was not included in the recall. The failure mileage was approximately 3,800.
