The contact owns a 2012 Hyundai Sonata. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds the engine would overheat and the emergency brake light had illuminated. The message "hybrid system warning" stop do not drive and check brakes had displayed and the brake pedal had extended to the floor. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who replaced the abs system but the failures had continued to occur. The local dealer(unknown) was notified of the failure. The manufacturer was not yet contacted. The failure mileage was 153,000.
