12v/24v/48v Battery problems of the 2016 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid

The contact owns a 2016 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid. The contact stated while his wife was driving approximately 75 mph, without warning the vehicle lost motive power. The contact’s wife was unable to pull over due to no shoulder. The contact was able to assist with blocking off the lane with his truck. The vehicle was towed to the residence and then towed to a dealer. The contact’s wife stated that the check engine and check coil warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was towed to a dealer where it was diagnosed with needing the battery replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The vehicle was driven from the dealer however, while driving 75 mph, the failure recurred. The contact’s wife was able to drive the vehicle back to the residence. The contact’s wife stated that the master warning light was illuminated the vehicle was then towed to the same local dealer where it was diagnosed with needing the battery replaced a second time. The battery was replaced. The manufacturer was informed of the failure and the contact was awaiting a response. The failure mileage was approximately 61,236.
