The reclining mechanism on the driver's seat failed which resulted in me being thrown into the back seat causing a back injury. The impact from behind caused my vehicle to crash into the vehicle in front of me, neither airbag went off. My vehicle had extensive damage to both front and rear, the vehicle was a total loss.
