A car speeding ran a stop sign causing accident with the Tiburon with most damage to the entire front of car. The airbags did not deploy. The impact caused total loss to the Tiburon and injuries.
: the contact stated while driving 45 mph a vehicle pulled out of a side street hitting the passenger side causing it to spin and the side curtain airbags did not deploy. The passenger side window shattered and the side mirror detached. The driver was wearing a seat belt and a police report was filed at the scene. The vehicle was towed to an independent repair shop for inspection however; the mechanic was unable to duplicate the problem.
