Hyundai said the exhaust manifold was not covered under the emissions or powertrain warranty which was a lie I have recorded. My seatbelt pops off even though I double check to make sure it's in tight. Hatfield Hyundai said put it in tighter or spray silicon oil in it. My locks will freeze while I'm driving and I cant get out of my car unless the window will roll down. Usally the windows are frozen shut. Hatfield Hyundai it is a normal thing for Hyundais to lock people in their car. He said dont drive it when it's cold or spray ice guard inside the door before driving in cold weather. My car automatic transmission well redline and wont shift into the next gear. Hatfield Hyundai said it was normal for my car to redline and not go past 69miles an hr. I took it to dennnis Hyundai another dealership immediatley after that same day and had their manager ride with me on 6/29/01. He made an appointment on July/2/2001 where it remains. They said they have to get it to act up again even though it already acted up before they will fix it. Hatfield Hyundai fixed the exhaust manifold and says they will fix the seatbelt since I have it on tape they lied. I want you to force Hyundai to fix things they promised to fix in their warranty for other peoples' safety.

My seatbelts get twisted or won't extract or retract 99 out of 100 times. I have had my headlights burnout numerous times and keep having to replace them. They need to be replaced every 2-3 months and it is at my expense as the dealer states it isn't covered under my warranty. One usually blows and then a week later the other side follows, this only happens with my low beams. I will turn my ac on and it will either run hot or if it runs cold at all it only stays cold for a few minutes. The dealer stated it wasn't covered under warranty and wouldn't even look at it. I have had my front driver's side tire lose air and blow out the first time about 3 times now. I have had to replace the tire each time and have bought different manufacturers. The dealer stated it may have something to do with the car. My pwr windows and pwr door locks on the drivers side has had to be replaced a couple of times and still doesn't work. My pwr locks never work and occassionally my pwr windows will. As for the battery portion, the dealer stated it could be the battery combined with other things. My car will all of a sudden not start and I have to have it towed to a dealer. They will hook a computer up to it and seem to get confusing results. They have had to contact the Hyundai corporation numerous times to solve the problem. It has occured several times though so it still hasn't been fixed.
Driver's and passenger's seatbelts fold in by itself, and jam guide, preventing belt from retracting. Please provide any additional information.
I can not get anyone to care about this seatbelt problem. . . Very dangerous and now I just have to just leave them off for they get twisted so bad you spend longer and longer time to untwist. . Sick of it and plan to trade my car.
Seatbelts get twisted every time, won't retract or pull out without a fight, or won't tighten after finally getting latched. This also is true for the passenger side.
Driver's and passenger's seat belts became tangled, and would not release from retracting mechanism, once belts are hooked, they do not retract to a snug position.
Belt folds in anchor, causes failure to retract/restrict and cannot always tell until you test the belt and there is no tension; occurs daily.
Front driver's seat belt does not retract as it should when it's pulled out all the way for use. Dealer has not been contacted.
