The contact owns a 2003 Hyundai Tiburon. The contact stated that the plastic cover on the headlights was hazed over which prevents them from shining bright. The turn signals have also failed. The dealer was called and stated the warranty has expired; therefore, the contact will be responsible for the estimated repair cost of $1,000 to replace the headlight assembly and the computer for the turn signals. There were no related recalls. The failure mileage was 156,000.

Moisture is condensing on the inside of vehicle headlamp and tail lamp housings. This occurred within a day of taking delivery of the (brand new) vehicle. Contacted local Hyundai service department and they are aware of this. They have noted this same problem on other like model/year vehicles. Hyundai district service managers are also aware of this problem but, so far, Hyundai motor CO. Has not addressed the issue. Not only is condensed moisture on the inside of lamp housings unsightly, I would think moisture inside the housings could cause long term headlight and taillight reliability/safety problems.

Clutch failed at 44,000 miles after buying car used. Service department would not fix , stated it was wear and tear. Cost $1500 to fix. Airbag light stays on, past 65,000 so service department wont fix it unless I pay for it. Hatch back latch wont work, $200 to fix that. Headlights burn out every other month. Brought car to service center because of a noise in the front of car. Said they couldnt hear anything. 2000 miles over my warrentee brought car back because it was getting worse, said it was front wheel assembly and would cost $1000 to fix. During cold weather emergency brake sticks took it in and they couldnt find anything wrong, go figure. Seats wont latch sometimes after letting someone out from the back. Is there a end to the problems that I have with this Hyundai.
I am tired of replacing the dim light bulbs. This is definitely a defect and the dealer will not honor it as such. I had to drive 10 hours during evening hours with no dim lights in the rain. I was terrified. I could have caused a serious accident. There needs to be a recall on this.

I have had to replace my headlights, on both sides, 3 times now in the last 5 months. The dealer tells me this is normal, but it's not acceptable to pay so much money for a car that is going to need headlights replaced every 2 months. There should be a replacement part offered at least. This is not acceptable.
Headlights seem to continually burnout, all of my tires went bad (one blew up) at the same time. I am scared to drive my care until I have new tires put on. (dot number: 395vb68349 tiresize: p195/55r15).
Have had to replace both headlamp bulbs.
When headlights are in dim function they do not shine far enough to see safely. Dealer said they could not be adjusted.
My seatbelts get twisted or won't extract or retract 99 out of 100 times. I have had my headlights burnout numerous times and keep having to replace them. They need to be replaced every 2-3 months and it is at my expense as the dealer states it isn't covered under my warranty. One usually blows and then a week later the other side follows, this only happens with my low beams. I will turn my ac on and it will either run hot or if it runs cold at all it only stays cold for a few minutes. The dealer stated it wasn't covered under warranty and wouldn't even look at it. I have had my front driver's side tire lose air and blow out the first time about 3 times now. I have had to replace the tire each time and have bought different manufacturers. The dealer stated it may have something to do with the car. My pwr windows and pwr door locks on the drivers side has had to be replaced a couple of times and still doesn't work. My pwr locks never work and occassionally my pwr windows will. As for the battery portion, the dealer stated it could be the battery combined with other things. My car will all of a sudden not start and I have to have it towed to a dealer. They will hook a computer up to it and seem to get confusing results. They have had to contact the Hyundai corporation numerous times to solve the problem. It has occured several times though so it still hasn't been fixed.
The headlights continuously go out. Consumer states she has to replace the light every two weeks. Please provide any further information.
Replaced headlights several times by dealer and by my self also headlight have aligment problems have spoken to a lot of people about same problem dealer will not pay for headlight bulbs because warranty is over please help im tired of spending money on headlights and removing battery to get to headlight housing.
Headlights have been replaced more than 4 times in less than 2 years, continuously burning out. Also, headlights are not adjusted properly and dealer says they cannot be adjusted, very diffucult to see.
