Tire Bubble Problems of Hyundai Tiburon

On 5/19/13 I purchased 4 new good year assurance fuel max tires. After driving less than 5,000 miles on the tires my tire pressure light came on 3 times, &when I checked them, all 4 had gone low (by 5-7lbs of pressure each time) . After the 3rd time of this happening, in less than 6 months of purchase, I decided to search online to see if anyone else was having similar problems with these ties. The results were scary; I found dozens and dozens of blogs & reviews stating these tires were slowly loosing air, bubbling &/or bursting. Most stated cracks were found on the sidewall inside the tire, causing pressure to go low. After seeing these results, I went outside and inspected my tires more closely, and the front driver side had a small bubble in it. I immediately took it back to good year and was told that the bubble was a road hazard issue cause by hitting a pot hole (and this was before anyone even took the tire off to inspect it). I asked why all 4 tires have been slowly loosing air, and their reply was "that is odd, that doesn't usually happen like that. " based on my findings from the internet, I asked them to inspect the internal sidewalls of the tires, just to make sure there were no cracks that could be causing the slow air leaks. I opened a file with gy's customer service and they asked the store to inspect the inside of all 4 tires, and to send them an inspection report, but all the tech did was spray the outside of the tire to check for air bubbles/leaks (but did not remove the tires to check the inside walls). The tire with the bubble was replaced, but I was not allowed to keep the tire to have it inspected. I was told the manufacturer would inspect it, but that will take several weeks. I'm very concerned with the number of reviews/blogs online with the same/similar complaints about these tires, so I am filing this complaint to document my experience with them. I've had my car since 2008 and never had any problems with my old tires.

Bought bf goodrich tires from walmart. 195/55r 84v tract tires in June 2006. About 5 days ago I was checking my tire pressure and found a large blister/bubble on the side of the tire wall. Approximately 3 1/2 inches long oblong and about 3 inches width. I took my car to walmart in ravenna ohio 44266 where I bought the tires. They measured the tire width and checked the car miles and said they would order new tires. I also only got 24000 miles on the tire and they are 60,000 mile tires. At first the girl told me I would have to pay half the cost of the original tire to replace them. She also told me to call back in an hour or so when her manager came back from lunch, because she wasn't able to input the information for ordering, that she didn't know how to do it. When I called back she made all kinds of excuses. We cant order them because the manager didn't see the car and he has to check the miles and tread depth. I said I have a print out of that and you already did it, then she said well we may not be prorating the tires because we don't know if you kept up on the maintenance of the tires. I said what are you talking about. She said rotating the tires and keeping them in alignment. I hung up angry and am reporting them to you. I have a tire protection plan also that I purchased when I bought the tires. I showed all the paper work to the girl when I brought the car in for them to look at it. The mechanic is the one who checked the tire tread and the miles personally.

Front passenger side tire produced a bubble. However, the second and third tires produced the same bubbles.
