The contact owns a 2022 Hyundai Tucson equipped with michelin tires, tire line: primacy a/s acoustic. Tire size: 235/55/r19, dot number: (n/a). The contact stated that while driving at slow speeds, the vehicle began to wobble erratically, prompting the contact to pull over to the shoulder of the roadway. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who determined that the steel belts had separated from the tire wall on the front tires. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, a case was opened, and the contact was referred to the NHTSA hotline for assistance. The tires were original equipment. The failure mileage was 20,000.
Nexen rodian gtx 235-65-r17 dot 1ua9y bmer 2822; 1ua9y aacl 2822; 1ua9y bakl 2822; 1ua9y I purchased a new 2022 Hyundai Tucson hybrid blue on October 29, 2022. I bought it right off the truck, no miles on it. Since owning this, I've completed all set maintenance, as required and recommended, including tire rotations (maintenance records attached). I just went over 24k miles, and at my 24k mile service, the Hyundai dealer told me I needed new tires. Tires that don't even last 25k miles can be very dangerous and this quality is unacceptable. Tires are available to be inspected. Safety was put at risk by having tires that deteriorated so quickly that I could have an accident without realizing I was even at risk. I've never had a need to check my tread depth at 24k miles before. Especially coming into winter, this could've caused a serious accident. Tires were inspected by dealer and routine service inspection. No warning of this prior to being told at the dealer. I contacted nexen about a warranty and was told they don't warrant those tires for a specific mileage. They special lower quality and mileage tires are sold to the car manufactures for new vehicles. If this is the case, then car dealers need to tell buyers this upfront or someone is going to have a serious accident not knowing their tires are shot when they've barely had the car a year. I believe nexen's tire quality should be looked into and would like to submit a claim. It was on all four tires. I have supporting documentation for tire photos, maintenance records, and correspondence on my rejected claim that I can provide.

Kumho 225/60 r17 99h original equipment tires on my Hyundai Tucson 2017. A little over a month ago we noticed a wobble in the front and I have a car at highway speeds and even lower speeds as well. When I removed the front passenger tire to inspect it I noticed there was bulging in the tread and the tire would not roll across the floor smoothly. I checked the rear passenger side tire at the same time and it also had bulging in the tread and would not roll smoothly across the floor without tipping over when it hit the bulge. I believe these tires should be recalled along with the other batch of kumo tires from the same time. That have already been recalled. I took the car into the local Hyundai dealer in anchorage and had a new set of tires put on a couple days ago and the service personnel at the dealership can verify that these tires are defective. I have the tires in my possession and would be happy to turn them in to be inspected.
The contact owns a 2017 Hyundai Tucson. The contact stated the tire pressure was low. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed over a railroad track, the vehicle stalled. The contact was able to restart the vehicle. There was an unknown green light on the instrument panel. Additionally, the contact stated the gear shifter would inadvertently move without driver input. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer and air was added to the tire however, the failure recurred. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 28,484.
Original equipment kumho tire r rear exploded on the highway, destroying the wheel well, bumper, and side panels, and almost cause major accident. After having to get the state patrol to stop traffic on all three lanes we drove car on the rim to the opposite of the highway where there was a median strip. When we went to replace this tire, with good tread after some 56,000 miles we learned that another tire, the l front, also had delaminated and separated, and that there were two large bald spots where the tire was failing also. Had this front tire exploded this would almost certainly have caused a rollover and probably killed or severely injured my daughter, the driver. I still have these tires, with a failure rate of at least 50%. Kumho has done nothing to recall these dangerous tires, nor has Hyundai.

Kumho solus kl21 tires are a real safety issue. . Tread measures 8/32" and the tread is separating. Car shakes so bad at 30 mph you can not talk to the person sitting next to you.

Falken zeix912 tires purchased in 2010 put 30k miles on them and they were bald falken has a 65k warranty on the tires but has fine print that says the tires must be rotated every 5k and vehicle professionally aligned so tires plus would not honor warranty yet still sells this product. These tires were normal used and very evenly worn to bald. I expected at least a pro rate of 45% on new tires. Warranty and tires not worthy of either name.

2 of my 4 kumho tires went flat at the same time with tread coming off of one. They had 25,433 miles on them. This appears suspicious and dangerous. I would like to be re-imbursed for the 4 replacement tires I had to buy as my vehicle is an all wheel drive vehicle.

I had both rear tires go flat within 10 minutes and one of the treads came off. My concern is the safety of the kumho tires and not getting any answers from their company. Both tires went flat.
Necesito ayuda urgene, please. Received complaint written in english.

Bought new cooper 235/60r16 cs4 touring 100v tires on 9/9/08. In may 09 I noticed an uneven "bumping" from the right front tire. I took the vehicle in and two tires had to be replaced because the tread had separated from the steel belt. I noticed a recall for another cooper tire, but not this one. I now have two new tires but I am still concerned about the two original tires that were purchased in 9/09/08. From September 08 to may28, 09 I only put on 1,576 miles on my vehicle, mostly around town. I fear if I had continued to drive on the original tires they may have separated and caused an accident or rollover of my 2005 Hyundai Tucson. Have there been other reports of this tire separating? do I need to worry about the original two tires that are still on the vehicle? note: the description on my bill describes the tires as cs4 touring. I could not find that exact match in the tire description field.
This car was purchased on may 2005 and now Dec 2008 the tires are all worn out, the dealership was contacted and they said that nothing was to be done. The warranty is expired. Only at 36,000 miles??? this is crap/. #$$%^^.
The cd player don't work the rear tires are worn out to the point they have no tread at all and I have just 19000 miles and the dealer and manufacture say that my warranty does not cover this is on a 2005 Hyundai tuscon the tires are bf goodrich this tire company and Hyundai company should be checked out because this is wrong.
The contact owns a 2008 Hyundai Tucson. The contact stated that the rear of the vehicle would slide as if it were on ice while driving on dry land. The vehicle would also surge from approximately 30 mph to 35 mph. The driver side of the vehicle, where the wheel would slide, would drop and bang as if the vehicle had been struck. A second vehicle that she test drove at the dealer experienced the same failure. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer for inspection, but no failures could be found. They stated that the failure was normal. On may 24, 2008, while driving 55 mph, the rear tire locked and was dragged along by the remaining three tires. The vehicle also surged on numerous occasions. The current mileage was 1,436 and failure mileage was 330.
