While driving around 50 mph on a texas highway, the tire sidewall blew out on the front drivers side with no cause, the tires have never hit a curb, properly maintained. This almost caused an accident. The vehicle only has 29k miles and has routine maintenance, original nexen tires. These tires need recalled, they car is in perfect condition only 2 years old. The car now has all pirelli tires as the car would be a hazard with nexen.
I purchased my velsoter brand new with 33 miles on it in November 2014. If Feb of 2015 I started to notice that the front end was shaking a little. I took it into my local dealership to have it looked at and get and oil change. I had about 8k miles on it. Their was a small scratch on one of the rims about 1/2 long, but nothing that would have caused the amount of shaking that was happening. The serviceman said he rotated the tires and their shouldn't be anymore issues. When I drove it home it was not any better in fact I thought it was worse. I took it back in yesterday to figure out why it is shaking and have it fixed. I was told that their were several dents in 2 of my rims which was throwing it off balance. I have not hit anything, I have not driven at speeds over 50. Their is no possible way that these dents happened due to anything being hit during normal everyday driving. They aren't looking anymore into it and won't fix it. I am very upset that this has been handled like this. Their is obviously some sort of defect or something with these particular rims if they have dents in them that have been caused by normal road conditions. They need to look more into it to figure out what the issue is because I should not be responsible for something that I have not caused.
