Vehicle Speed Control problem #1

When traveling at speeds of 25 to 35 miles an hour through residential areas the vehicle sputters and the check engine light comes on. I took it to the dealer in marlton, NJ but the check engine light had gone off and they stated that they could not do diagnostic test if the engine light is not on (that makes no sense to me). This happened at 112,000 miles and it is still happening now at 140,000 miles with no resolve. I've had the spark plugs changed, the battery and alternator changed and had the mechanic ride with me in the vehicle to witness the issue. When the vehicle sputtered with the mechanic in the car they still could not explain to me what is the cause. I asked if they could check the fuel pump, but yet again they stated that without the check engine light on they would not be able to run a test as they need to know the code that is registering for the error.

Vehicle Speed Control problem #2

Tl-the contact owns a 2007 Hyundai Veracruz. The contact stated that the electronic throttle control (etc) warning light intermittently illuminated and the accelerator pedal became stiff. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed but the part that needed to be replaced was unknown. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 103,000. Djr.

Vehicle Speed Control problem #3

My esc off light keeps coming on the dashboard causing the car to not shift out of park. There was a recall of the stop lamp switch which was performed in 2009. I read in a newspaper article that there is an update to this recall which will be performed starting in June 2013. Dealer refused to perform the recall work at this time and Hyundai USA states that the recall (campaign 110) is not valid for 2007 vehicles, only 2008-2009. I am very concerned, this is a serious safety issue and Hyundai refuses to repair my vehicle.
