general problems of the 2007 Hyundai Veracruz

My car broke down in the middle of the highway. I could not move my car. It was stuck in neutral, but still would not move. I had already switched out the battery, but the battery and engine light was still on. I come to find out it is my alternator. And I feel it is leaking into the alternator, making a crash hazard.

I am very concerned, this is a serious safety issue and Hyundai refuses to repair my vehicle.

I stopped at the intersection of jfk and manhattan Ave due to red light, after green light I made right turn, I lost control, SUV drove into driveway and after hitting two cars my SUV stopped. Thanks god no one injured. On manhattan Ave when traffic green. Made right turn, my SUV traveled on less than 5 yards I noticed that my brakes are not working , steering wheel also not moving to control SUV. At the time accident my speed was less than 5 mph. And bright shining day, no raining or snowing.
