The failure recurred, but the headlights did not shut off completely and were significantly dim while driving various speeds. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. High & low beam headlights can't be adjusted separately. My low beams are ok however the high beams shoot up way to high. (I could use them for bird hunting). I am a police officer there has to be something done about this problem. I noted that is already is a complain about the headlights with NHTSA. The dealership advised they can't adjust the high beams down or it will affect the low beam.

When the contact activates the bright headlights, they do not illuminate the road, but shine upwards instead. He spoke to the dealer numerous times and they stated that nothing was wrong with the vehicle. They stated that the lights were issued to Hyundai's standards and requirements.
