Tl-the contact owns a 2008 Hyundai Veracruz. The contact stated that she had received a recall notification of NHTSA campaign number: 14v415000 (electrical, engine) however ,the contact stated that the vehicle was taken in for the recall repair, but the technician failed to repair the whole recall and only repair valve cover gasket. The actual recall letter stated that the valve and alternator was suppose to be repaired. The contact stated that in addition, the vehicle on the next day from having the vehicle recalls repaired the contact had experienced the vehicle completely stalled and the vehicle was inoperable. The vehicle was towed to the dealer for diagnostic testing. The technician stated that the starter failed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure.
