1 Brake Abs Warning Light problem

Failure Date: 02/01/2017

Abs and esc lights are on. Was told it was a abs sensor/hydralic issue. The part is $2500 the dealer says. I found several other complains online about 2008 Veracruz having this issue. The car only has 50,000 miles on it.

2 Brake Abs Warning Light problem

Failure Date: 10/08/2014

The abs light, esc light, traction control light and awd light all illuminated. The dealership tried twice to diagnose the problem, but could not locate any codes for it. The third time the issue arose, the dealer decided that there is an issue with the abs sensor. The vehicle is a 2008 Veracruz purchased in may 2009. I was told that the vehicle was just past the warranty period and that Hyundai would not cover this item. It appears that this is becoming a common problem with this vehicle, as there have been at least 15 complaints on the NHTSA site and many more listed in the Hyundai forums online. Please investigate this issue and see if a recall is warranted. Thank you.
