The contact owns a 2002 Hyundai Xg350. The contact stated that while attempting to refuel, the fuel spewed back out of the filler neck. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who diagnosed that the fuel valve was clogged with charcoal drops and as a result, the valves would need to be replaced and the lines would need to be cleaned. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure who did not offer any assistance since the vehicle was out of warranty. The vehicle was repaired. 2 Fuel Hoses Lines/piping And Fittings problem

When attempting to fill fuel tank reading empty on gauge, tank keeps stopping like the tank is full of gasoline, Hyundai new port richey admits there is an issue with the charcol canister and that charcol floats up the fill vent breather hose causing this issue and suggests that the canister be replaced. This start happening at 50k miles.
