The contact owns a 2004 Hyundai Xg350. The contact stated that while driving 45 mph the power steering failed. The vehicle was towed to a dealer, and a technician concluded that the bolts attaching the steering assembly separated from the cross member. The vehicle was repaired. Also he stated his VIN number was excluded from recall # 09v124000 (suspension). However he is experiencing similar problems, that if not resolved poses a potential safety hazard. The failure mileage was 95,000. The current mileage was 107,000.
