The vehicle was not inspected by a dealer or an independent mechanic. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the incident. The contact stated that the failure was similar to that listed in NHTSA campaign number: 13v430000 (vehicle speed control) however, the vehicle was not included in the recall.
