The dashboard on this car is melting and cracking. It has 62k miles on it and is garage kept. The melted dash creates a glare on the windshield that makes it difficult to see sometimes.

2 Carrier/rack problem of the 2009 Infiniti EX35

Failure Date: 11/15/2016

1. Front passenger seat airbag warning sensor light always blinking despite several dealer attempts to correct. Dealer tried to reset sensor on 5/05/10,10/23/15 & 11/15/16 and an estimate of $5,091. 96 on 11/15/16 to correct the issue. Manufacturer denied claim to replace sensor on 11/17/16 (case # 24679041. 2. Multiple dashboard cracks. Dealer gave us an estimate on 9/4/18 of $2,453. 64 for parts, $800. 00 for labor plus tax on parts & labor. This car was purchased new from dealer in 10/17/09 and is always stored inside our garage when not in use, has 9,037 miles as of 1/15/19 and is in very good condition aside from the two aforementioned problems.

3 Carrier/rack problem of the 2008 Infiniti EX35

Failure Date: 06/26/2016

Various cracks have formed in the leather dashboard. One near the odometer readings extending towards the driver side window. A second to the left of the center dash extending from top to bottom. Contact Infiniti consumer affairs because they replaced fx35 dashboards with the same issue. They said they would not replace my vehicle dash. I first noticed the cracks on June 26, 2016. Called Infiniti on July 1, 2016.

4 Carrier/rack problem of the 2008 Infiniti EX35

Failure Date: 06/25/2014

Radiator cracked at the junction of the aluminum and plastic causing the car to overheat and stall. It was explained to me that this was not uncommon due to the use of plastics in the cooling system now. There is no repair able to be done because of the plastic and the radiator needs to be replaced.
