One problem related to transfer case has been reported for the 2004 Infiniti FX35. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
2004 Fx35- black smoke comes from the exhaust pipes when the car is started for the first time each day. I have shown the dealership video of this and yet they still are reluctant to admit there is a problem. My gas mileage is far less that the epa estimates. The transfer case has also been replaced twice in one year.
