I've called Infiniti and another number on a letter I keep getting 877-481-0083 many, many times and told them I have not owned this car for over 15-years and for them to take my name off the list. No luck and they are wasting time and money and not finding the real owner!!!.
Takata recall. The contact owns a 2007 Infiniti Fx35. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 16v349000 (air bags). The parts to do the repair were unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The Infiniti beachwood dealer confirmed that the parts were not available for the recall remedy. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.
The entire dash of my vehicle is covered with bubbles because of an inferior product in production. These become worse every summer because of the heat and the dash becomes a gooey mess. How can I be sure that the airbag will deploy or deploy correctly when this mess is all over it? I was never made aware of any recall, but when contacting the company was told it was past deadline and they would do nothing. I want to be sure that if the airbag is needed, that it will work correctly.
