Six problems related to equipment have been reported for the 2008 Infiniti FX35. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
I'm one of many experiencing the bubbling/sticky dashboard problem that has become sononomous w/ Infiniti/Nissan autos from 04-2010. The sticky/bubbling area has become a safety hazard from glare & distraction that could result in injury/death to others. There was an 8 yr warranty extension from date of manufacturing but some of us purchased vehicle outside of that timeline & have been turned away by corporate during many attempts @ getting resolution. The part itself is very expensive along w/ labor. There have been numerous times where the bubbling/stickiness has caused a distraction & I'm asking that Infiniti/Nissan do the right thing & include an unlimited recall to fix this issue that has become a major concern.
The dashboard of the vechile is melting and is starting to do so at a rapid pace.
Melting dashboard makes reflection on the front windshield.
The Infiniti's first generation Fx35 are know to have melting dash because Infiniti used inferior materials. Its melting and poses a safety hazard while driving. Infiniti, Nissan has acknowledged there was a problem, but did not do a proper recall such as Toyota for their same issue with their melting dashes.
Visibility challenged as a result of dashboard bubbling. I just saw that someone else filed a similar complaint.
I think that my odometer may have been tampered with.
