This item is called the rear cross member that attach's the rear shocks, drive axle and brakes. The sway bar on the driver side has already dislodged from the vehicle therefore when you apply the brakes, the rear axle seems to be shifting because the sway bar is used to supply a stationary support to the rear drive shaft. I discovered this when braking I noticed that the vehicle dived to the right as if the rear axle had shifted. This vehicle is not safe to drive now.
