The contact owns a 2009 Infiniti Fx35. The contact stated that as she depressed the brakes, approaching a traffic stop, the engine exhibited an abnormal increase in rpms. The contact had to abruptly apply the brakes and down shift in order to correct the failure. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who inspected the vehicle and could not duplicate the failure.
