One problem related to power train has been reported for the 2009 Infiniti FX35. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While driving on the highway, the gears stall on the 2nd gear and power cuts off from the engine. This has occurred 3 times on highways. Turned off the car and restarted with no engine response. Did this 2 more times and engine restored power. Engine stalling is common with daily driving and cuts off when in 2nd gear. Infiniti dealership has attempted to reflash the transmission but nothing has been resolved.
