Seats Problems of Infiniti FX35

Ever since I bought my Infiniti the air bag light flashed rapidly on the dash. I received notice a couple years ago about the air bags being recalled. I took my vehicle to roseville Infiniti and supposedly the airbags were replaced I expected it to take a couple hours it was in and out in under 2 hours. When I left the delership the light was still blinking and never quit blinking. My concern was to call and ask why it was still blinking ? I was told that it probably wasnt reset however the air bag was replaced . I was in an accident recently and it was a serious frontal collision and not one airbag went off . I was seriously injured my hand was fractured my left leg was hurt and I had a concussion and cervical sprain this all would have been prevented had my airbags deployed.

Driver seat detached from floor causing great risk to operator, passengers and other vehicles or pedestrians. Seat frame broke previously and was reported to jackie cooper Infiniti. They requested I report it to corporate Infiniti which I did but any relief was denied. The broken frame was a cause for concern but last evening the seat became loose to the point where the rear can be lifted now from the floor.

Problem appears closer to recent recall of hundai sonata cars w/ steering wheel bags. While traveling down busy 4-lane highway, sensor light came on associated with seat and airbags. Roswell Infiniti , roswell, GA had to completely tear apart steering wheel column, work on airbags, sensors, and other items. I had just purchased vehicle from another dealer, but has only a little over 105,000 miles. Did not expect almost $4,000 in repairs due to this problem. I think it is a problem associated with other japanese models and should have a recall. Please investigate as soon as possible. When light came on I was very scared because I wasn't sure whether I should keep driving and I was over 25 miles from dealership by that time. Brought it in next day but took over 3 days to repair due to parts, etc.

The recall on the air bags has kept me from being able take my kids to their events, take prospects/clients out and when I called infinity of charlotte, nc-where I purchased the car they would not offer me a rental until fixed. Instead they offered to replace the air bag with the exact same model air bag. The service department rep said there was only a 1% chance the bags would deploy spraying shrapnel throughout the cabin. There have been 15 deaths already and I would never risk someone being killed or disfigured. I unfortunately don't have a rental car so I risk it everyday. Apparently the other models all got a replacement vehicle from enterprise rental car but not the 2003 Fx35.

In Feb 2016 when I saw the recall on the news for airbags, I called to see if the Infiniti Fx35 2008 was recalled. I was told no recall the truck is fine. Now in July 2016 I receive a letter for a passenger airbag recall. Do you know if the driver airbag is being investigated? I'm curious to know, because my mom was killed in an auto accident, while she was driving the truck in Dec. 2015. She had injury to her face, neck and more. What makes the passenger airbag inflate? is it normal for the driver seat to come off the track? thank you for you attention to this matter.

Vehicle was recalled 2007 exterior lights were improperly repaired passenger side burnt out again remains dim and still not properly working defective work done at sawgrass Infiniti 5801 madison avenue tamarac, florida 33321 called manager he refused to honor recall received a traffic ticket for defect. . . Please investigate electrical system on seats seats jam and can become a dangerous situation.

The dashboard has bubbled and is very hot to the touch. I have been trying for years to get this replaced. I want to start a class action suit. I see many cars with the same issue.

The driver seat power function failed, resulting in the ability to move the seat adequately to reach gas and brake pedals. Upon inspection by the dealer, they indicated that the plastic gear track was faulty. The fix for this issue costs $1200-1300 since they must replace the entire seat power component instead.

2005 fx 35 driver seat track failure - driver seat does not move on track. 1100. 00 - 1400. 00 to replace entire track. Infinity only replaced the entire track - there is an option to replace the plastic gear head which is bad at a cost for part of 65. 00. Infinity is not replacing the broken part forcing you to buy the entire track. The seat does not move causing back pain and improper position making the driving of the car dangerous with pedal and leg issue to use properly.

Seat (driver�s) adjustment/ movement (back & forth) has a scary �kink/twist/wiggle�. I fear that the seat may become dislodged from it's rail/track, while driving. Also, the passenger side front electric window lift does not close, but reopens about 2-inches when the window lift button is released.

Driver seat track. White nylon gear stripped, this will cause the seat not to go back and forwards. Dealer will not warranty the work, but is willing to sell customer a new seat track costing us $1400 for repairs. I am not the only person that has this problem.

Keyless entry and internal door locking actuators not working properly. Automatic steering wheel and seat positioning system does not work (intermittent). Doors fail to lock when actuated. Also when locked and keyless entry is activated various doors /or rear hatch will fail to unlock. Also when exiting the vehicle passenger door (front) fails to lock or unlock either remotely of by pushing the door locking button.

Driver side leather seat is totally cracked. Dealer said that he's never seen this before and no other cars have had this problem. Since then, I've checked Infiniti forums for service instructions and general help. I have noticed this reported a lot but nothing is ever done. Now I can see complaints here when I went to look for my airbag recall notice. My car is on the airbag list, but I have not been contacted. These seats are an issue that has never been handled. The dealer was not truthful and it has been a very long time now. None of the other seats in this car, or my other two cars had this problem. It is clearly a manufacturing defect.

Front seats on my 2004 Infiniti fx 35 with black interior where replaced 2 times each, they are sure defective. The leather bulk up, cushion deformed.

The contact owns a 04 Infiniti Fx35. The contact smelled some type of odor coming through the vents. The odor smelled like mold. The technician at Nissan stated that it was mold. The fog light was inoperative, the bumper was damaged, the leather on the seats was wearing.

Driver's seat is loose and rocks back and forth. Infiniti has attempted to fix, but problem reoccurs. Feel if seat becomes loose enough this is a safety issue.
