I own an Infiniti fx 35, 2005. My front passenger door and hatch door locks have failed ( the actuators). I called my local dealership, expressed my concern as it is a safety issue, esp since there is no key hole entry for either the passenger side or the hatch door. They did not feel this is an issue that Infiniti should be responsible for. I brought my car in to the local dearlership to have examined, and fixed (because again, this is a safety issue). . . . They told me that all my locks are failing (actuators) and it will cost $1700. 00 to fix. I can get this fixed by my local mechanic for a lot less, but I will have to buy after market products. However, I absolutely can not have all my locks fail on my car. My car only has one key access, the driver side. Which I understand is for most cars that are newer, but I also understand that most cars locks do not fail. And all cars have a key hole in there hatch. This is a safety issue in every way, and infniti absolutely should take responsiblility. Also, I have tried contacting a manger at Infiniti USA with no luck.

Fx35 2007 Infiniti air bag light came on without an accident or any incident occurring on 3 November 2011. Vehicle was parked for about and hour with no incident occurring during that time. Vehicle had approximately 73,350 miles when air bag light came on. Took vehicle to inifiniti service location in alexandria, va and was told that code 1054 appeared and the driver side airbag, spiral cable and diagnostic control unit needed to be replaced and that it would cost $2202. 50 to replace the items. He stated it was not a recall on this problem but from what they have seen in the past when it had occurred the only thing to fix the problem would be to replace the items mentioned above. They reset the airbag light as a 1st step but stated that if it came back I would have to replace the items because it is a saftey issue. It could prevent the airbag from deploying if needed. The light came back on the same day that I picked up my vehicle, 18 November 2011. I researched and found several complaints online about this problem. It should a recall due to the saftey issue and the manufacturer should be liable for this saftey concern.

Intermittently unable to lock/unlock right passenger door and hatch/trunk with remote key fob or driver side lock/unlock switch.

I have a major problem with my rear hatch actuator lock. Unable to open the door from the outside. The dealer told me once one goes they all go. It appears this is a big problem with the 2004 model and they should do a recall on this lock. The price they want to charge to fix it is outrageous. I have found the parts and labor prices cheaper on line. Please make them recall these locks for safety reasons and help out their customers.

Infiniti Fx35 2007. Dash bubbling. Vehicle with less than 40,000 miles and kept garaged. Complaint sent to dealership and Infiniti without response.

All four door locks as well as the hatch lock ceased to work properly (I. E. Would not lock or unlock when the automatic lock button was pushed. ) told that it was an actuater problem, and that all would need to be replaced (at great expense). This is an obvious safety issue. First, with children in the car, doors could not be locked or unlocked quickly in the case of an emergency. Also, when driving alone, security of the car was likewise compromised. Also troubling was that the sound of doors locking would still be heard, but the doors were not actually locked--thus leading drivers to think their car was secure when in fact it was not. This is a prevalent problem with these SUV's and should be considered for a component recall.

None of my door actuator work. Cant open or lock any doors, not even the trunk. Infiniti didn't do anything about it. I had own many cars but none of my cars ever gave me these kind of problems. One door or two is fine. But all 5 doors stopped working. This is unacceptable. We consumer need the gov's help. So please help us. How could you guy let them get away like this. Im not the only one. My aunt has an infinity and she had the same problem. And many many people out there had the same problem. Thanks.

Vehicle dashboard is melting defective. Radiator fan assembly arm rest top compartment.

: the contact stated the mud flaps on all four tires cause snow and ice to build up between the wheel wells and the tires. Due to the icy build up the steering is difficult to control. The dealership determined the build up occurs on all vehicles with that type of mud flaps.
