Two problems related to side/rear glass have been reported for the 2003 Infiniti G35. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The contact owns a 2003 Infiniti G35 sedan. The contact stated that the electrical system works intermittently, causing loss of defrost and air conditioning. Due to the high humidity in his state, the contact was unable to defrost the rear glass due to the malfunction in the electrical system. The vehicle has not been diagnosed by the dealer. He noticed several complaints on the internet regarding the same failure. The failure mileage was 132,000 and current mileage was 133,600.
While driving on an entrance ramp to highway the rear window shattered. There was no overpass where an object could have been dropped. The entrance ramp at the point of is long way from any other traffic. I fail to see how a small pebble could cause the rear window to shatter into so many pieces (this is what dealer claims) dt.
