One problem related to structure has been reported for the 2003 Infiniti G35. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The contact owns a 2003 Infiniti G35. The contact stated that the welding joint was coming apart and damaging the base. The dealer stated that the entire base was unsafe and needed to be replaced. The vehicle is currently at the dealer being repaired at the owner's expense. There is a service bulletin for the vehicle, but the number was unavailable. The failure and current mileages were 46,000. The consumer stated in January 20009, the driver's seat began to rock back forth whenever he accelerated from a complete stop. At first, the rocking was isolated to when acceleration occurred from a complete stop. However, after two weeks the rocking would occur when traveling at highway speeds of about 70 mph. Eventually, the condition of the driver's seat became so severe that the seat could be rocked back and forth without any person seated in it. The driver's seat assembly was replaced at the consumers expense. Updated 02/09/11.
