Four problems related to other fuel system have been reported for the 2006 Infiniti G35. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The engine stalled with out warning while I was driving. Now the service engine soon, vdc, and slip light comes on, the engine sometimes will not start, I've also experience reduced power and hesitation. I have seen a recall for the exact same problem for my year and model, but not for my VIN.
Check engine light is constantly on. Both fuel sensor units were replaced on vehicle. Gas gauge not working properly. --p0462 obd-ii trouble code: fuel level sensor circuit low input.
While driving, in traffic, the vehicle failed to accelerate. Cars behind me were at a safe enough distance that I could put on my hazard lights and restart the car. This, also, happens when trying to start the car a. M. Or p. M. (with the vehicle being parked): it fails to start. The "vdc" and "slip" light comes on. This continues to happen.
The oil burns like crazy it caused my car to lock up being the it happens without warning, having to do oil changes once a month which is insanity. This has been a problem not only in the Infiniti G35 but also the Nissan 350z models. Usually a problem with manual 6spd transmission models. This should be a recall being that no one has been able to fix the problem!.
