1 Power Train problem

Failure Date: 06/12/2012

While driving, in traffic, the vehicle failed to accelerate. Cars behind me were at a safe enough distance that I could put on my hazard lights and restart the car. This, also, happens when trying to start the car a. M. Or p. M. (with the vehicle being parked): it fails to start. The "vdc" and "slip" light comes on. This continues to happen.

2 Power Train problem

Failure Date: 06/22/2009

I have a 2006 Infiniti G35 and the idler pulley on the car has failed once before and it is occurring again. The car has 10,500 miles on it. The first one failed at 7500 miles of use. The dealer told me that this is a common failure in these cars. They replaced the first one under warranty and the car is now out of warranty.

3 Power Train problem

Failure Date: 11/01/2005

The contact owns a 2006 Infiniti G35 coupe. The contact stated that the vehicle exhibited very little engine power when accelerating from stops. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer and the contact was informed that the engine was burning through a lot of radiator fluid. The contact was also informed that the radiator fluid was turning into a very dark color. In addition, the contact stated that he often times had to jam the transmission into third gear and the vehicle experienced difficulty shifting into reverse. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and offered no assistance. The failure mileage was 40,000.
